The 2004 real estate market has all good news for you. A rebounding Oregon economy
and low interest rates have brought out tons of eager buyers. For that reason the
average home is selling 61 days or less after it was listed by a realtor. Best of all,
appreciation has returned to Gresham/Troutdale areas! In the past 12 months real estate
appreciation has averaged 6.3% in our area compared to 1.9% over the 24 months before
that! This means an average home is worth more than 6% more than it was in May 1, 2003.
Even better, homes in Northeast, Southeast and Clackamas have been appreciating at even
higher rates. Some neighborhoods in these areas have seen increases of over 9% during
the same 12 months. Our statistics indicate that this trend may slow down as interest
